we have been prepping her for her 4th birthday for some time now.
you are going to be a big girl when you turn 4, and big girls dont need blankies to suck on.
ever since she was a baby she has sucked on blankets. blankies made bedtime a breeze. when she was sad, all she would need was a blankie to make her feel better {and a hug }. they just made my life a little easier. but they STINK...literally. they are beyond sour by the next morning...yuck.
so she proved to us that she could be a big girl and let the "blankie fairy" come take her blankies to the little babies that needed them. and oh my...she did awesome...she hasnt bugged me for a blankie. wa hoo
so the last post was a picture of kaida giving her blankies {in the green grocery bag} one last goodbye before she went to bed so the blankie fairy could swing by and get them {and hopefully leave something in return}
here she is on the morning of her 4th birthday...showing her dad via skype what the blankie fairy left her.
she woke up at 6:30 which is not normal {my kids like thier sleep} because she was just too excited!!
