she started pre school today.
had her favorite hot dog lunch, minus the ketchup chips cause I forgot.

me. trying to get organized and on time for school while the whole crying scenario was going through my mind. I wont cry, she will do great...but every mother cries when their child starts their first day of school...I wont cry.

today I had Navy's ears pierced. they missed the hole and had to redo one. AHH. she was not a happy baby....neither was her mother. But she is all smiles tonight. love her

today we went to waterton with kristyn and her kids. SO FUN! the kids had a ball. After I took this picture of the deer kaida says to me..."mom, what would happen if i pulled its tail"....haha

not much to do at our apartments so the kids will find their own fun. yelling down the sewer is what they do. These kids would live outside if i let them. Kaida would live in her swim suit if I let her too....which I did for a couple days...then I hid it in the bottom of the dirty hamper.

our place.

Here is a glimps of our place....dorm. fancy huh. it is very yellow. and yes...those are sheets on the couch.....I have a thing about used furniture. {ocd maybe...I think} I took these while I was waiting for jaks to fall asleep...so the house is a mess. (I clean when kids are in bed)

I hope to take more photos of our stay in grande prairie...I just feel like I have ZERO time...why is that? KIDS

Grande Prairie.

I am no longer a single mom {for a few weeks anyways} and it feels good. Grande Prairie is grand indeed...I like what I see so far, even if it is just the costco down the street. Lost all the kids toys I packed on the way up {thats what you get for buying a CHEAP cargo box} but our place is new and clean and that makes me a happy lady.

These pictures also make me happy.

dentist

kaidas first time at the dentist. she did AWESOME!! in fact...she keeps asking me if we can go back to the dentist so she can pick another toy.

she has been brushing her teeth faithfully every morning and night with her new princess toothbrush and toothpaste. I dont even have to ask her. wow

Went back a couple days later to fill a cavity (Does that mean im a horrible mother)

...total freak out...we finally got her to take the laughing gas and she was literally LAUGHING and giggling 2 min later and loved every minute of the drill and all sorts of tools in her mouth. what a kid.

the big day finally came. kaida has been waiting for her birthday for some time now...asking how many more sleeps since christmas..

she had so much fun opening presents..and there were a bunch!

i made her wait till 8 am to open her presents so dad could watch her on skype.

Grandma Grace loves my kids, which is awesome because she had her stroke before I had kids...and she remembers them and their names and loves when they come to visit.

So we went to see grandma because she wanted to give kaida a present.

i thought it was cute that they had matching fingernails!

all she wanted for her bday dinner was FRIES....definatly her moms girl....love fries.

its true..she is a big girl now

we have been prepping her for her 4th birthday for some time now.

you are going to be a big girl when you turn 4, and big girls dont need blankies to suck on.

ever since she was a baby she has sucked on blankets. blankies made bedtime a breeze. when she was sad, all she would need was a blankie to make her feel better {and a hug }. they just made my life a little easier. but they STINK...literally. they are beyond sour by the next morning...yuck.

so she proved to us that she could be a big girl and let the "blankie fairy" come take her blankies to the little babies that needed them. and oh my...she did awesome...she hasnt bugged me for a blankie. wa hoo

so the last post was a picture of kaida giving her blankies {in the green grocery bag} one last goodbye before she went to bed so the blankie fairy could swing by and get them {and hopefully leave something in return}

here she is on the morning of her 4th birthday...showing her dad via skype what the blankie fairy left her.

she woke up at 6:30 which is not normal {my kids like thier sleep} because she was just too excited!!

My little lady is already a month old. It kind of saddens me. she is still so so little and such a sweetheart. love her

backyard complete

I cant even belive it finally happened!! we have a backyard!! WA HOO!!

the last week before the dreaded 4 months of summer were absolutley beautiful! { my husband does summer sales for those of you who are questioning why i would ever hate summer...that would be why} so garett cracked down and worked his butt of to get it done! he rented a big saw and finished the caps on our retaining walls and put up and fence in 3 days. what a stud!

I love doing home improvement projects....but what did i do...babysat my 3 kids...what did i get myself into!! ha...love it though

we even busted out the swimming pool for the kiddos...they LOVE it outside. who would have guessed that the following week it would blizzard its brains out!my boys blocks. his feet are still so thick. i love them. he is still crawling and his feet got scraped up somthing bad....too hardcore

jaks thought the grass was cool....even if kaida was rubbing it in his hair
