comments please
ok....so i am still on the hate side of the love/hate relationship i have with my camera. i have tonnes of pictures to come but am so not looking forward to the whole edit process.....it takes me literally FOREVER! we have a pc and it is so SLOW! I have been hinting to my husband that we need a mac for about 3 years now....and he just says "how do you know if it will work for you?" so if any of you out there have a mac and have done editing on it....give me some feedback! are they fast?

i do editing on iphoto ( I am NOT pro!), not photoshop, and it is fast, i make dg scrap pages and announcements, etc, in illustrator, and it is fast....it is awesome and tell garret, once you go mac, you dont go back, you will love it, i promise! I really dont know like anyone who didnt love it once they got it, it takes a minute to get used to, cause it is different, but it is AWESOME once you do it!
K First of all ask Garett if I have ever led him astray..... then tell him to quit being so cheap and buy you a dang Mac. We all know they are far better than anything Microsoft (blah) can come up with and it will make your photo editing so much easier. You will no longer have to dread the process. Tell hem to call me so I can make sure he is getting you a good one and remind him I know how much money he makes. Hope this helps your cause.
you'll love a mac. it's fast with ALL editing programs (cs4 included)... make the switch & you'll never go back to a pc. hope this helps ;)
Our laptop is a 2.0 ghz and it works great - so you shouldn't have any issues with a 2.6!
feel free to stop by and try mine out next time you are through. i haven't done editing, but i love my computer so it probably is great.
