so kaida always bugs me about having scissors and cuting paper....so i decided whats the harm in letting her play with kid safe scissors...thinking they were dull enough no damage could be done...wrong....she was cuting out a dinosaur for fraser...right next to me as i was rocking jaks to sleep. so i say...dont get too close to moms hair or it will get cut off...next thing you know she jabs the scissors into my head and whacks off a chunk of hair.....wow....i guess i should be glad they wernt "sharp" or i would be missing an ear.so after a week of yelling screaming on both our parts and me wickedly beasting out my little girl i decied to let loose, be a little laied back and let kaida just have fun and be a kid!
so we pulled out the paints....it went a lot smoother than the time before...then again she is a year older right.
she had so much fun and i just stood there and tried to keep my cool
after we were done the masterpeice into the bath she went...we wont go into much detail but after about 5 liters of water all over the bathroom floor...lets just say we are back at square one....its a work in progress

haha, oh man, I probably would have snapped too...but that is a really good idea about broccoli for the paints!
ahhh!! I have wicked fear of the cutting of hair. I always worry about her, not my own, now I fear it even more. Today I caught Madi cutting her hair with playdough scissors. If they were real a huge chunk of the little hair she has would have come off!! So we will not be using scissors around here for awhile. I love when you say "beasting out". its makes me laugh everytime!
i have been looking for scissors like that forever. where did you get them?
ps. i would have wickedly beasted out. that would be like 1/4 of my total hair. oh kids....gotta love them eh.
it is SO good to hear that my child isnt the only going going through a "fun" time lately!!! the painting thing is a great idea im thinking im going to have to try that one very soon!!!!
